Psychiatric Technician (Psych Tech) or LPN/LVN

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Psychiatric Technician or LPN/LVN to support the Behavioral Health Clinic at Jacksonville Naval located in Kings Bay, GA. What We’re Looking For

Psychiatric Technician

  • Psychiatric Technician certificate or equivalent training

  • At least 1 year of experience after graduation

  • 2 Letters of recomendation working in behavioral health/psych (Within the last 2 years) 
  • BLS through American Heart Association
What You’ll Do – Psychiatric Technician

You’ll play a vital role in helping service members manage mental health challenges by:

  • Conducting mental health screenings, assessments, and clinical interviews

  • Supporting providers with testing and documentation

  • Leading or assisting with group and individual therapeutic activities

  • Monitoring patient safety and emotional well-being

  • Coordinating referrals and follow-up care

  • Providing compassionate support for stress, trauma, and adjustment concerns

LPN/LVN

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • At least 1 year of LPN/LVN experience in Behavioral Health/Psych

  • 2 Letters of recomendation working in behavioral health (Within the last 2 years) 
  • Active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state

  • BLS through American Heart Association
What You’ll Do – LPN/LVN

You’ll provide essential clinical care in a behavioral health setting, including:

  • Administering medications and monitoring patient responses

  • Recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition

  • Assisting with diagnostic tests and treatment procedures

  • Supporting RNs and providers in patient care

  • Educating patients and families

  • Being a steady, reassuring presence for patients in care
